Public Relations is the communication channel between Adama University and the public. It proactively informs the media (print, voice, TV), supports and advices the Managing Board and the Deans in public relations aspects, edits the Adama University Annual Report, the (monthly) Adama University-News for staff and students, the (biannual) Adama University-Journal and the Adama University-Internet Site. It is the liaison center addressed by external questions and queries which are forwarded by Public Relations to the Adama University-internal unit or person in charge. Public Relations enforces a positive image of Adama University in the public opinion and supports the President in fundraising endeavors and alumni relations.
Public Relations jointly with the Managing Board creates a corporate identity and a corporate design and is in charge of its Adama University-internal dissemination and application.
